The Invasion
The invasion this was pretty good this year. We appeased the masses by playing freebird, it was pretty sweet. I preformed this year with a couple of my friends, we played Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd, Fix You by Coldplay, and Don't Let Me Down by the Beatles. Don't Let Me down was easily our best song, Chris Estep and Schyuler Swartwood were singing and did an exceptional job at it, I played guitar, Evan Alexander was on Drums, and Cody Redfield was slapping tha Bass. I Hadn't eaten all did up until only thirty minutes before we preformed so I was starving which made my hands shake from lack of sugar. This did not help considering I was also nervous so I was Shaking like a madman. But it turned out okay, I would put our preformance at a 6/10 still enjoyable but needed a lot more practice than what we did. At the end of the Invasion all the preforming senoirs and teachers played freebird since it has been requested every year of the Invasions existance. That was a great preformance with Tom Horton on lead guitar who did an exceptinal job at the slide and solo. Since I've been to the invasion every year I've been in highschool and can confidently say it was one of the better ones. At no time did i feel that a band was playing to long or was boring.

The Hunger Games as a Whole
I have now finished all three books of the hunger games. I personally thought it was good series, it did get me back into reading for fun. I thought the second book was a little weak but the first and third books were exceptional. They both were paced well throughout the whole book for the most part and had fairly good plot twists and such. The third book ended how I wanted so thats good but I still am questioning how are they are going to make the other books into movies. While the first book did have some violence in it, it could easily be skipped over or made into a more appropriate alternitive. while this was possible in the first book I don't see it happening in the third. At some parts in the third book it has the same amount of violence as the beginning of Saving Private Ryan. So I don't know how they are going to pull it off. But overall i would rate this book series a 7.5/10. Right now I am looking for another book or book series to read. So If any reads this and has some suggestions put the in the comments.

Cats Vs Dogs
Okay... Let's get something straight, Dogs>Cats. The difference between dogs and cats is that dogs actually love thier owners. They go into a state of depression when thier owners die or are away. Cats eat thier owners if they die and dont care if they are away. Cats are just parasites that only stick around because people feed them and shelter them. Dogs stick around because they are a pack animal and love thier masters. So already cats look like jerks but the conspiracy doesn't end there. What do you get when you spell dog backwards, god. what do you get when you spell cat backwards, Tac something that hurts you if you touch it. So moral of the story cats suck. They use thier cuteness like sirens in greek mythology to attract people into loving them. Dogs are known to protect thier masters while cats dont do anything except sit there and lick themselves. Plus cats always are trying to kill thier owners. When they bring you a mouse they killed, it isnt a gift, its a warning.

The Hunger Games
So this spring vacation I decided I would read The Hunger Games since it has been getting so much attention recently. So turns out, it is actually a pretty good book. I read it in one day 6 hours straight of reading. Last time I finished a book in one day was in jr. high, so moral of the story it was good. I'm not going to do a book review or anything but I will do what I do best. Complain. The movie sucked. So if you are planning on watching the movie and reading the books I would watch the movie first so you are not dissapointed like I was. I went and saw the movie and they changed so much about the characters it ruined it for me. Haymich or however you spell it was supposed to be a jackass but in the movie he becomes a really nice supportive guy. What I'm trying to say is I hated the movie, loved the book.

Scary story time
When I lived in my old house me and my mother would often go on walks down local streets. One day we want at seven o'clock in fall so it was dark out. The street lights were already on so we could see to walk. Anyway as we walked a fair ways away to where we walked down a side road. When we turned the corner, there stnading at the end of the road was a dog. But it made me crap my pants because of the situation. Imagine walking down a lone road at night with street lights spaced about every 50 feet. And at the last street light, in the middle of the only lighten up area is a skinny, evil, bloodythirsty dog. I don't know for sure whether it was bloodthirsty or evil but it was sooo creepy, you could see its rib cage and the scee looked like something out of a horror movie. It was scary so we turned around and went home the end

Watchmen
I recently read a visual novel called Watchmen, written by Allen Moore and I was honestly greatly surprised. When I think of visual novels I generally don't think of very intullectially based pieces how work. However Watchmen, Continually surprised me with it's constant use of symbolism. The anti-hero Rorschach always had a mask on which had no other colors besides black and white. The blobs of black would constantly change in shape and in position. This could mean numerous things but I saw it as Rorschach's view on the world black and white with no grey and it is constantly changing for every situation. This was only one of many different ways the writter impressed me with clever use of symbolism and other literary elements.
This visual novel was about multiple things but it mainly focuses on a group of vigilanties known as the watchmen. They however, are forced to retire after public unrest at how they are above the law and they go thier seperate ways. After they retired from thier band of heroes goes their sepereate ways until some of the watchmen start being killed. Rorschach is depicted as a paranoid character and because of this suspects that a conspiracy is going on when one of the former watchmen, The Comedian is murdered in his apartment. I really cant say much on the matter for fear of spoiling something but this storyline is not the only one happening. There are two watchmen who developed a relationship and ended up living together. One is a character who after becoming involved in a horrible incident gained the powers of being able to alter the world at will, he is known as Dr.Manhatten. After being accused of causing others around him to become terminally ill, he teleports to mars and starts living there. Rorschach thinks this is also the plan of the "masked killer," who is trying to kill the watchmen. There is going to be a giant blobbed out part highlight it with the warning of spoilers ahead. Rorschach does in fact turn out to be right, partly. The masked killer was not trying to kill all of the watchmen because HE HIMSELF WAS ONE. Adrian Veidt was a former watchmen and is believed to be the smartest man in the world. He as a child admired alexerander the great's conquest of the world and was inspired to model his life after his. But when he got older he started to believe that there was only one way to unite the world. That was to fake and alien invasion of sorts to cause mass hysteria and the unification of the human race to fight the unearthly creature. However when his plot is found out by the remaining watchmen they try to stop him because in order for his plan to suceed, he must kill half of New York City. This brings up the issue of morals again, is the lives of millions of people worth world Peace? This is a grey area to most and Dr.Manhatten convinces the other watchmen what Adrian is doing is right. But Rorschach is not convinced since he sees the world in black and white he believes that the act is no better that mass murder. And thats all I'm willing to say.
Overall I liked the book and would recommend it to readers willing to think. If you read this book and only read and not reflect upon what you are reading, you will miss half of the meaning of the book. I also caution those with weak moral standings because if you don't know much about morals or if you choose not to think about them then this book will not be pleasing for you to read. It constanly puts the reader in situations where you are left to decide whether something is right or wrong and a character like Rorschach is the must basic character in the whole book. He sees the world in black and white while the other characters believe there is some grey. Great read, better if you know someone else who has also read it. Its one of those books where everytime you read it you notice something new. So having someone to talk to can help you understand what you just read.

Devil Chickens
So one day I was walking around in my lawn, just enjoying mother nature. When on of my chickens started to eye me with its blood red eyes. Now chickens are not often viewed as evil creature, but I assure you when I looked into its eye, I saw hell. After a little stare down the chicken brandished its beak on the gravel below. I walked away slowly and started to mow the lawn. My house has fields on it north side so its not uncommen to come across a field mouse. When I was mowing near the field I must have scared a nearby Field mouse because it went running into my lawn. And thats when the unthinkable happened. A pack of chickens descended on the poor mouse, they all to eagerly started to blugen the poor animal. As I watched in horor, the chickens continued to disemboul the small creature. After they were finished with its body they walked away casually. Since that day i have never trustd them and I make sure to bring a weapon whenever I feed them, So now you know the true face of the species known as Chickens.

Us and Them
I'm really tired of groups and political parties. If everyone was perfect then they would be great but every single person has faults. What ends up happening is something like this, "Well I'm registered as a democrat so that means a should blindly follow liberal news. Also anything conservative must be closed minded and stupid." Now, I am not hating on democrats because that would discredit this whole blog, It goes both ways. Also its not limited to political parties, but race, sex, age, and almost everything that can distingish someone from another. This is because for some reason there always has to be a bad guy, an opposing force, a "outdated generation." Why does this have to be true? Why can't we just be? Why does it have to be us and them? I don't know why, but it sucks. Cheetah picture to relieve the stress after reading this below.

The Evil Legion
last night I was peacefully sleeping in my bed, and while I was blissfully sleeping an evil dark pack of creatures laid in wait. Earlier that day I ate a chocolate wafer in my bed. Big mistake. These evil menacing creaures smelt the suger, along with my vunerability, from a mile away. As i slept they brutally attacked me with no mercy in order to obtain the suger. The culprit was ants. These douche bag insects thought it would be funny to bite me when i was peacefully sleeping. Let me just say I'm built ford tuff but it hurt, bad. I barley made it out of my room fighting the ants all the way out. And as I type this they are in control of the territory formally known as my bed. But I have a plan, a plan of vengance. First I will flank my bedroom through the bathroom, they will never see it coming. Then I will replace my bedsheet, which had some of the wafers crumbs on it, with a sticky paper. I will cut my finger and drip my blood onto the paper attracting them. Once you taste human blood you never go back. They will get stuck to the paper and I will laugh. Then i will turn thier children into orphans by taking them outisede, give them a yellow shower, and then light them on fire. Thier tiny voices will scream for help and I will look down and whisper "No." That will teach'em
